Police Seek Public’s Help To Find Thieves Who Beat Woman, Stealing Her Senior Dog

Update 9/28/2023: Drake has been found! Read the full story here.

Hollywood, CA – Los Angeles police are hoping that the public will help lead them to two suspects who beat a woman inside a North Hollywood 7-11 store, stealing her senior dog. According to reports, the incident took place around just before 1 a.m. on Sept. 26 at the convenience store in the 11100 block of Burbank Boulevard.

The pair aggressively attacked the woman and forced her 11-year-old dog, Drake, to leave the store with them. There are grave concerns that the dog was stolen for dog-fighting purposes…perhaps to be a bait dog to help train other dogs to fight and kill.

As reported by Fox 11 News, police provided a description of the suspects:

The suspects are a black woman who was wearing all black, and a Hispanic male wearing a black and white sweater, blue jeans, and black shoes.

Anyone with information about this situation should call LAPD detectives at (818)754-8424 or provide anonymous information to Crime Stoppers at (800)222-TIPS.
