Unloved And Hopeless, Cat Betrayed When Owner Abandoned Him At Rental

Orlando, FL – A five-year-old cat named Bruce has been betrayed by the person who was supposed to love and care for him. According to Albert Harris, the Orange County Animal Services photographer, Bruce’s owner moved out of her rental, leaving him behind.

In a social media post, he explains:

Sadly Bruce has just bad luck with owners, as his first owner surrendered him back in mid August because the owner couldn’t provide a stable living environment for him. He would get adopted but sadly almost a month later he would end up being back in a cold dark kennel at no fault of his own. Just because his owner abandoned him when she moved out. The landlord that found him stated they wanted to keep him but sadly their cats didn’t get along with Bruce so she had no choice but to turn him in. After taking in Bruce, staff would try to contact the owner but sadly they had no luck as she has been ignoring their calls.

Now, this beautiful cat is losing hope of being loved because he has been treated as if he is disposable.

Harris said,

He’s starting to feel hopeless as he’s not wanted as everyone passes by his kennel. He watches his kennel mates across from him get adopted while he lays in a corner. His head droops and he falls asleep because he knows no one cares about him. To people, he’s just another cat.
