Two Arrested For Throwing Puppies In Dumpster

Opelousas, Louisiana – Two people have been arrested and are facing charges in connection with a case of puppy dumping in Opelousas. According to sources, Jasmine Mouton and Kendall Tyler were arrested for dumping two puppies in a trash bin outside of the Sebastian West End Seafood market on Sunday evening.

The puppies were in the dumpster for a few hours before someone discovered them and pulled them to safety. Both are currently being cared for by the neighbor who found them.

St. Landry Parish Government investigators arrested the duo believed to be responsible for dumping the pups on Monday; the 22-year-olds are expected to face charges for aggravated animal cruelty.
