Terrified Dog Completely Shut Down At California Shelter

Modesto, CA – A terrified dog is so overwhelmed at the Stanislaus Animal Services Agency that she has shut down. The husky, dubbed Rosie, is doing everything she can to disappear in her shelter kennel.

Her advocate writes:

As you can see Rosie has completely shut down. To be honest I’ve never seen a dog shut down this much.
Rosie lays frozen in fear and just stares at the wall hoping to disappear. She literally doesn’t react to a single thing, just tries to make herself as small as possible.

Suffice it to say, if Rosie makes it out of this shelter facility alive, she will require patience and kindness from whoever takes her in.

An end date has been placed on Rosie’s life:

Euthanasia Deadline- 3/9/24

Please share Rosie’s adoption information…the clock is ticking.
