Staff And Volunteers Worried About Young, Homeless Shelter Dog, Marco

Queens, NY – A young dog named Marco is causing staff and volunteers at the Animal Care Center of New York City a great deal of worry. The year-old dog, with a “lovable personality,” is exhibiting signs of severe stress from being held at the facility.

Sweet Marco has been drooling and chewing on his water bucket and bed. Those who know and love the affectionate dog are hopeful that he can leave the facility and join a less stressful foster home (or better yet, a forever home).

@nycacc Status: Available for adoption at Queens ACC! Marco is a sweet 1 year old boy patiently waiting to be adopted at Queens ACC. He is an incredibly loving and gentle boy who is unfortunately not doing well in the stressful shelter environment. He would do best with a loving patient adopter who can let him decompress at his own pace. You can find Marco’s Bio at nycacc.app by searching for his name or ID: 207069

Please help Marco find a safe, calm place to stay – share his adoption information so people know that he exists!
