Long Beach, CA – Someone abandoned a paralyzed, senior dog who has obviously been badly neglected. The dog, a Lhasa Apso, was discovered in the middle of a vacant lot…unable to move herself to safety.
The dog was rescued from the vacant lot, but she is still in danger. She has been taken to the Long Beach Animal Shelter where a euthanasia date has been scheduled on November 30.
Social media efforts are underway to give this neglected dog a chance to know what it means to be loved and cared for, but there is little time to put a rescue plan in place. An advocate writes:
She is currently at the Long Beach Shelter and will be euthanized November 30th. Who can open up their home for this little angel. We can take her to our vet for a full medical evaluation and whatever she needs.

Time is of the essence. If you cannot help directly, please take a moment to network on behalf of a dog who appears to have been ignored for far too long.
