St. Louis, MO – A grievously injured kitten is receiving life-saving care after a pest control technician found her in a home. The two-month-old kitten, dubbed Pogo, was taken under the wing of Stray Rescue of St. Louis, who said:
We received a call from a @Rottler Pest Solutions technician. They were working at a house and found a 2 month old baby kitten. Her legs were all cut up and swollen, and full of maggots.
Little Pogo was rushed in for veterinary care. The rescue agency describes her horrific injuries:
All four of her feet are crushed and necrotic with exposed bone! How did this happen to you little one?
