Man Intentionally Ran Over Seagulls, Killing 25

Ocean Park, WA – A man driving a Jeep was witnessed running over a flock of seagulls at a Washington beach on Saturday; 25 birds perished in the attack. According to the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife Police, witnesses saw the man, driving a silver four door Jeep Cherokee, intentionally drive into the flock of birds on Saturday July 27th, at approximately 8:00pm.

The deadly incident took place approximately 1.7 miles south of the Klipsan Beach approach outside of Long Beach in Pacific County.

In a release, the agency said:

The same Jeep nearly struck two subjects walking their dogs on the beach. Multiple witnesses came forward including three that stopped the vehicle, photographing it and the driver. Efforts to save the few birds remaining alive failed.

Thanks to the witnesses, the driver of the Jeep has been identified and police are attempting to contact him; he is believed to be living out of state.
