Coweta County, GA – A man was arrested and charged with animal cruelty after being caught abusing a horse in Coweta County. According to sources, Kenneth Bullard was kicking the horse and beating the animal with a stick – his abusive behavior prompted a good Samaritan to call 911.
Responding deputies encountered a bizarre situation. Bullard was still holding the horse’s reins and carrying a large stick. He told them that he was “getting this horse ready for the end of the world,” reports Fox Atlanta.
Deputies observed welts on the horse’s body, and blood coming from the nose.
Investigators discovered that Bullard had been stabling the horse in a basement. He was arrested for animal cruelty and family members have stepped in to care for the horse.
As reported by Fox Atlanta, Bullard has stated that he will “continue beating” the horse when he is out of jail.
