Update 7/4/2023: Thunder is safe – he was adopted! Thanks to everyone who helped network his adoption information.
Downey, CA – A floofy, young dog is out of time at a busy California animal shelter and it is heartbreaking. His name is Thunder, and he is listed as a two-year-old Malamute. Thunder was taken in at the Los Angeles County Animal Control – Downey facility on June 4, and in just a day, a full month will have passed with no one coming forward to save his life.
Days ago, a shelter advocate issued a plea on Thunder’s behalf, writing:
He Sat in place for me. He’s just the prettiest boy.
He’s only 50 pounds He’s all poof. #poof

Thunder
Thunder is handsome, young, and deserving of the life that he should be living. He most definitely does not deserve to be walked to a back room of the shelter where his life will be ended.
You can help make a life-saving difference in Thunder’s life by sharing his adoption information. Networking SAVES lives! You never know who will be in the position to help.
