Pasadena, CA – A young dog picked up in Altadena during the devastating Eaton Fire remains unclaimed by his family. The Pasadena Humane shelter took in the year-old husky and treated him for dehydration and burned paws – now they just want to see him reunited with his owner.

This week, the animal welfare agency said:
You may remember this stray dog who was found in Altadena the day after the Eaton Fire broke out. He came to us severely dehydrated, with singed fur and burns on his paw pads. We are happy to report that he is doing well and continues to be treated in our ICU by our veterinary team. Despite all he has endured, he remains a very sweet boy.
As of today, January 27, his owner has still not claimed him. If you believe this is your missing dog, please come to Pasadena Humane between 9:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. so that we can further assist you.
Reminding whoever owns this pup that even if they are unable to take him home, the shelter staff would like to hear from them so they can work to find the displaced dog a new home.
