San Bernardino, CA – A dog adopted from a free shelter adoption event in December 2023 and in July, she was picked up as a stray. An advocate explains the sad situation, writing:
This dog was given away in December 2023 at City of San Bernardino Animal Services free adoption event. 7 months later, on July 13, 2024, she’s back as a stray and her owner isn’t coming for her. She wasn’t chipped and does not appear to be spayed. Her name is Sugar #a561124
Amazingly, the dog, Sugar, was not fixed and not microchipped. And tragically, she has now been placed on the San Bernardino City Animal Control facility’s euthanasia list.
Sugar is obviously not doing well at the shelter and her former owner is not coming to save her. Please share her adoption information to help save her life.
