Dog Adopted After Waiting At Shelter For More Than 800 Days

Los Angeles, CA – After more than 800 days of waiting, a person has taken a chance on a shelter dog named Boldo. According to LA Animal Services, Boldo was overlooked for half of his life, despite a sweet and playful demeanor.

LA Animal Services broke the good news about Boldo’s adoption to Facebook followers, writing:

Boldo, who has been waiting at our West LA Center for over 800 days, has FINALLY been adopted!   #feelgoodfriday
A very kind man visited our West LA Center last week looking for a new furry best friend. He told the volunteer who was assisting him that he didn’t want a male pittie as he’d recently lost his, so he felt adopting another may be too painful.
But the man met several dogs who were not a perfect fit and happily, he was open to meeting Boldo when the volunteer suggested that he might be a great match. The animal welfare agency said, “Fortunately, he couldn’t resist Boldo’s sweet face & agreed…and fell in love! “

Boldo will no longer spend his days and nights in a lonely kennel run – he will be enjoying the comforts of a home, with a person who loves him. Enjoy your new life sweet Boldo!
