Chicago, IL – Neighborhood residents of the Mount Greenwood area of Chicago were horrified last week when a group of teenagers viciously beat a coyote pup to death. According to sources, three teens “kicked and stomped” the young coyote until the animal died.

The disturbing incident happened on the afternoon of January 11 in the 10600 block of South Sacramento Avenue. As reported by WGNTV, Dave Kielbasa heard a commotion outside and confronted the teens.

One of the teens said “sorry,” before they all drove away in a dark colored truck.

Kielbasa said the slain coyote was part of a family who had been living in the neighborhood for a couple of weeks. He said:

“They were super friendly and not bothering anyone,” Adding, “This is some Jeffrey Dahmer type stuff. You start murdering animals, what’s next?”

The authorities collected the coyote’s body and opened an investigation.
