Cat’s Owner Died – Family Took Dog In, But Aleana Went To A Shelter

Orange County, FL – A young, orange and white tabby cat named Aleana finds herself scared and alone at the Orange County Animal Services facility following the death of her owner. Aleana lived in a home with a dog – family of Aleana’s owner took the dog in, but nobody had room for her, so she was surrendered.

Last week our officers got a call from a citizen and stated the reason above in the first paragraph. They were dispatched to the location and found a dog. Officers would find out that the dog from the sister that he would be taken by the relatives but no one was able to take the cats.

Aleana is only two years of age. She should be enjoying life in a home, but instead she is sitting in a lonely shelter cage.
