Bert the Shepherd in need of Lifesaving Chance at Crowded Shelter

San Bernardino, CA – A three-year-old German shepherd mix dubbed Bert is in need of a lifesaving second chance. The homeless dog has been at the city of San Bernardino Animal Control facility since December 3.

A social media post made on Bert’s behalf indicates he was picked up as a stray. Sadly, nobody has come forward to claim this pup as their own:

City of San Bernardino Animal Services
BERT #a573922 was found as a stray in the City of Fontana on 12/3/24 and has been available for adoption, fostering or rescue since 12/7/24. He’s estimated to be 3 years old.

Bert clearly wants out of his kennel run. He is locked away like a common criminal, even though he has nothing to deserve his jail sentence.

Please network Bert’s adoption information. The shelter facility is full, and Bert can be put down at any time if space becomes an issue.
