Jurupa Valley, CA – A beautiful German shepherd mix pup is on the Riverside County Animal Control shelter’s euthanasia list – the reason provided is “showing stress.” This striking young dog is just a year of age and already his young life is in jeopardy.
A video of the pup (dubbed Johnny) reveals a playful young dog who appears to be okay with other dogs, and affectionate to people.
Johnny has been at the shelter facility since August 25. It is not surprising that he is showing signs of stress. He is a young dog who wants to run and play, but instead, he is confined to a small kennel run, surrounded by loud barking from other stressed dogs.
This young dog has so much potential. He is young and he SHOULD have years of life ahead of him.
But his life will abruptly end if help does not arrive in time. Please help stop the unthinkable from happening. Network his adoption information on Facebook, Twitter (X), Instagram, Linkedin – email rescue groups – do what you can to help spare this young boy’s life.
