Miami, FL – For nearly five years, a dog named Jones waited for someone to choose him at a Florida animal shelter. Jones was a 13-year-old senior when his day finally arrived…after 1739 days, Jones was adopted from the Humane Society of Greater Miami.

Jones’ plight was posted to social media and caught the eye of Brittany Bunnell, who had recently lost her own dog. Bunnell says that Jones is “such a good dog,” and she is shocked that he remained homeless for so long.

Jones is enjoying the good life now…his own bed, toys, and trips to the beach where he can run in the ocean. Mr. Jones fans can find him on Instagram and watch him as he lives his best life ever.
