Doral, FL – A Florida man was arrested last week after repeatedly stabbing his own dog. According to sources, the Doral Police Department sent officers to an apartment on Northwest 112th Avenue after being contacted by a woman about an incident involving Dante Antepara.

The woman said she received an “incoherent” call from Antepara shortly after midnight on January 15. She went to the home where she co-owns a dog and found blood on the floor. The disturbing discovery prompted her to contact the authorities for help.

Responding officers found a grievously injured dog with multiple stab wounds in the neck. The dog was transported to an emergency veterinarian where humane euthanasia was performed because of the severity of the injuries.

Antepara was arrested and booked into the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center on one count of animal cruelty with intent to injure or kill with a deadly weapon.
