Puppy With Broken Jaw Given Deadline At Crowded Shelter

Update 10/24/2024: Thanks for sharing! This puppy has been rescued!

Jurupa Valley, CA – An eight-week-old puppy, urgently in need of veterinary care, has been given a dire deadline at a busy California animal shelter. The pup, ID# A1824674, has a broken jaw and the Riverside County Animal Control has stated that he “must exit.”

The pup’s shelter bio reads, “Underage and Medical – Needs immediate exit with a rescue, Can you help? TransferDAS@rivco.org.”

An advocate writes:

This innocent 7-week-old puppy, with his tiny, fragile body and a broken jaw, has been given a death sentence he doesn’t deserve. Despite the cruel words that he’s “ugly”, this poor little soul still holds on to hope, but no one has come for him. His injuries haven’t dampened his spirit, but the shelter has deemed him unworthy of saving.

You can help this puppy find the help he needs by sharing his information.
