Man Arrested, Facing Felony Charges After Dog Abuse Captured On Video

Portland, OR – On Saturday, a man suspected of abusing a dog earlier this month was arrested on multiple felony charges. According to sources, 25-year-old Isaac Booker Justham was arrested for an abusive situation that was captured on video in an apartment elevator on August 2.

The video, released to the public, shows a dog being repeatedly struck with a heavy rope. The black dog cowers on the floor during the beating.

According to the authorities, the abuse continued beyond what was captured in the elevator. The police say the man also hung the dog from a fire hydrant and kicked the pup multiple times.

Justham was booked into the Multnomah County Jail on three counts of first-degree aggravated animal abuse. The dog that was abused has not been located.
