Oxford, Mississippi – A man has been arrested following a grim discovery at a residence in Oxford. According to the Lafayette County Sheriff’s Department, Terry E. Pegues, 47, is facing 10 counts of animal cruelty after 10 dead dogs, still tethered to chains, were found on his property in Mississippi.
According to a news release, another 20 malnourished dogs were found and taken to a veterinary hospital for care.
