Palmhurst, TX – A curious cat got into a bad situation after poking his (or her, we aren’t sure!) head into a jar. Thankfully a good Samaritan saw the cat and reached out to the Palmhurst Police for help.

Capturing the terrified cat was no easy feat. Every time the officers approached; the cat bolted away.

Finally, with the aid of a jacket to toss over the cat’s body, the frightened feline was captured and the jar removed.

The department said:

Earlier today, our Comms Center received a report of a cat which had its head stuck in a cup as it wandered the street. We’re unsure how long this poor feline had been suffering in this heat and unable to see but action need to be taken immediately.
We’re happy to report that “Jar Jar” was freed and was transported to PVAS for medical evaluation!

Great job everyone! You saved Jar Jar’s life.
