Man Charged In Brutal Beating Of German Shepherd Pup, Chance

York, PA – The authorities have arrested a York man in the brutal beating of a German shepherd pup dubbed Chance. According to the York County District attorney, Terell Harris, 35, was charged with a felony count of aggravated cruelty to animals on Tuesday by a Grand Jury.

Chance was brutally beaten with a stick last August. The attack left him with missing teeth, a broken jaw and permanently blind in one eye.

But with amazing veterinary care, Chance recovered, and he is living with Matthew Tamanoksy, the police officer who found him.

Harris has a preliminary hearing scheduled on February 7; his bail was revoked by Magisterial District Judge James Morgan.
