Los Angeles, CA – A Doberman Pinscher being held at the West Los Angeles Animal Shelter appears much older than her two years of age. The dog, Dobby, has been at the facility since December 11, and though it was believed that she had an owner, nobody came forward to retrieve her.
Dobby appears to be a gentle, shy dog. A volunteer writes:
Personality-wise, Dobby’s been gentle, docile and very sweet despite being overwhelmed in her new environment. She was even calm while a volunteer gave her a much-needed medicated bath.
DOBBY IS ON MEDICAL ALERT FOR: A chronic skin condition that needs a dermatological workup and treatment.
Another volunteer observation:
When she was introduced to another dog Bobby she was very relaxed and wanted to play with him but Bobby showed no interest. Had to carry her back after our time in the yard.
Dobby has been at the facility for over a month and she needs help. Please share Dobby’s information and help her get the attention she needs to be rescued. She deserves to know love and stability!
