Northern California – Days ago, a dog who was excited to meet a new family was left heartbroken by day’s end when he realized that nobody wanted to take him home. The German Shepherd Rescue of Northern California writes:

The progression of Jack at our Adoption Day yesterday is heartbreaking. Jack starts out excited to meet his new family but ends up sad that another adoption day ended with no forever family.

The rescue agency explains that Jack has been with them for a long time, but nobody seems to want him, even though he is friendly, affectionate, and obviously, adorable.

The rescue agency pleads:

Please someone bring Jack home for the Holidays.

Jack is a medium sized, fluffy haired, shepherd mix. This floppy-eared cutie loves people. He’ll let you pet him like he’s known you forever! He takes a treat nicely, wags his tail and, despite spending a long time in the kennel, is super happy – nothing can damper this boy’s good spirit.
