Many of us have been there…needing to take our cat to the vet, but our normally docile feline turns into the Tasmanian devil when the crate comes out. Kiara Burns (@kiaracburns) shared her struggle to get her cat, Hazel, to the vet and thousands of empathetic cat lovers responded.
Hazel wanted NOTHING to do with being loaded into her carrier, as evidenced by her screams and howls of distress. Hazel’s vocal response left commenters in stitches…
Multiple people had been in the same spot with their own cats.
A veterinary receptionist confirmed that Hazel’s response was not unusual.
Hazel didn’t make it to her veterinary appointment, but don’t worry – Kiara still loves her spicy cat unconditionally. She wrote:
