Downey, CA – A handsome German shepherd named Buddy is desperate to be someone’s friend, but he is running out of time. The seven-year-old dog has been at the Los Angeles County Animal Control – Downey facility since July 4, but nobody has come forward to claim him as their own.

An advocate writes:
Out Of Time ‼️
Friendly, cuddly and your best buddy …
Is Buddy the Handsome GSD
He’s just that special dog who will make friends with everyone.
He needs help now.
Buddy #A5565111 7yrs neutered black and brown German Shepherd mix 60 lbs.
Stray on 07/04/23
It is unbearable to consider the possibility that Buddy might die simply because the shelter is full and he has run out of time. It simply is not fair.
Please help this deserving shepherd find his way out of this facility alive. German shepherds are faithful, devoted companions and most anyone would be lucky to call Buddy their own.
