Van Nuys, CA – An elderly dog, 13 years of age, is sitting in a kennel at the East Valley Animal Services facility after being surrendered by her family. The senior dog, named Nicky, is one of hundreds of homeless dogs in the Los Angeles Animal Services system.
Considering the number of homeless dogs in need of rescue or adoption, Nicky’s fate is uncertain, especially given the fact that most adopters are not seeking out companions who are in the twilight of their life.
But Nicky is still very much alive and she deserves the chance to enjoy what remains of her life. She is undoubtedly scared and confused right now, but her life can begin anew with an adopter who will love and spoil her for the rest of her days.
You can help Nicky find her special person by networking her adoption information.
